1st Touch Football Coaching

Description:The ‘Football Tots’ sessions are all about the fun. Offering the perfect introduction to football for boys and girls aged 1½ – 4½ years. These sessions are set up to teach the fundamentals of the sport through a fun filled manner. We kick-off with a friendly interactive warm-up which leads into a series of fun games. Each game is designed to help improve co-ordination, core motor skills and individual confidence. Our coaches are enthusiastic and deliver the sessions in a fun way, giving each child the maximum in enjoyment. The 1st Touch Fundamental sessions are a great start for any parent looking to encourage their child to be active, as well as interact with other children. It also offers a great opportunity for parents to become part of the ‘1st Touch family’ by making new friends with other parents.

Description: At Music Bugs, we provide gently structured, play-based sessions for children from birth where they can develop, grow and have fun in a multi-sensory environment. Description: Free group – Knit and Natter group at Abbotswood Community Centre, every 2nd Wednesday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Come along with your knitting, sewing or craft related activities, sit and chat and grab yourself a free cup of tea and coffee. No need to book, just come along.

Description: Come along to our coffee afternoon, if you work alone, fancy a change of scenery or just want to get out of the house, meet up with old friends or make new ones – come along to our free friendly group every Thursday at the Community Centre from 1pm to 3pm. We have tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. This is a free drop-in group – no need to book.

Joining us at coffee afternoon on the third Thursday of the month is Mountbatten Hampshire and we also have the Social Prescribing team coming along too, so if you have any problems, concerns that you feel you need support with like long term health conditions, social/welfare issues, feeling lonely or isolated, wanting a lifestyle change or looking to join some clubs in the area, please pop along.
