Abbotswood Community Centre is the hub of the Abbotswood development and the focal point for local events, clubs and private bookings.
We offer flexible facilities for all kinds of parties, classes, activities and business meetings. Outside is a children’s playground and play space in addition to dedicated parking. With a cost-effective tariff and excellent services at affordable prices, we are proud to provide a central space for the community to thrive.

The community centre is available to hire as a whole and we have a number of superb spaces that are suitable for training, meetings, activity classes, parties or events. Our modern venue comprises of a main hall, meeting rooms, interview room and kitchen.

Main Hall

This hall is perfect for birthday parties, weddings or any event. This room measures approximately 8.8m x 17m. It has a serving hatch directly into the kitchen and has a storage cupboard with tables and chairs which are free to use. There are doors leading to an outside grass area, perfect for those summer days.

These can be hired individually or if you need a bigger space you can hire both. They measure approximately 6m x 6m individually or 6m x 12m combined. They come with use of tables and chairs.

"Went here Monday for a few sessions of free table tennis. Good atmosphere. There are 4 tables. Bats and balls all provided free of charge. One person who comes regularly was really nice and friendly and helped organise to ensure everyone had a go. Doors was open to ensure good ventilation. "
